Hey, just saw this post, appreciate all the positive comments man, have you got to mow this year yet? We got the 26 Kawasaki option this year due to everyone being so negative on the Briggs. Its a shame the Briggs is everybit as good of a motor...

Your welcome. My yard could use a quick mow right now, but I need to do the 5hr. oil change first and to touch up the blades. I was going to do that stuff yesterday, but other chores kept me busy. So far, with just 5 hrs. on the meter, the Briggs is running good. I'm sure with proper maintenance, I won't have a problem.

BTW, how much more for the 26hp Kawasaki over the 27hp Briggs?

300 more, and the only difference is the choke is seperate from the throttle located on the left side of the seat...

I was just browsing the BB site and did see that the 2011 MZ does for sure have the Kawaski engine. A 22hp and 26hp model are available.
