The XT5 is a definite improvement on the Ryan type. However turning anything more than 90 degrees is pretty tough without 3 pt turning it. Even shallow turns will work you, front end in the air or not. The XT5 is not effortless. That said, takes much less effort than a Ryan type.

Cruise control anybody? My little zip-tie method isn't cutting it anymore. It originally stemmed after 1/4 of the way thru an acre aeration I decided to get a little relief. Was nice not having to grip the bars/handles the whole time. Was also thinking a set of bicycle bar ends would lend some leverage/gripping power. Sweaty hands can be dangerous at times on those smooth bars.

Have you guys ever tried motorcycle gloves? The kind with no finger tips and gel in the palm and fingers. They do wonders for cramps / pain on long rides holding on for 6 / 8 hours. I would think they would do wonders for Aerators and overseeders |

Thanks, I may consider that as long as they don't just come in black(scorching). My main objective is to reduce the vibration motion transfer which comes directly from the ground & up to my elbows. Some lawns I picture a jackhammer is on the end. My right elbow never hurt in the night as it had immediately after using the xt5. Now I notice my hands are tingling for lack of circulation maybe. Cruise control wouldn't work for every lawn but for the times it would, I want it.

Would love to hear more reviews and input from people that bought this product, something I think people coming here will want to know more detail about performance and durability.

After watching a YouTube of a dual-hydro LS, i'm thinking it would be worth the $2k more if & when Exmark gets one together. In the meantime to avoid a multitude of turns I simply use reverse then go forward. Backward is diagonal to start the next track. Otherwise time yourself on the 3 point turn on each end unless its easier to box it out. On a SA lawn I would raise the tines when turning or else it was pulling up too many runners (looked poopy). I wish reverse was as fast as forward if not faster because im not pulling any plugs in reverse so there's little to no drag. I see its hampered by the handles range of travel. Maybe I could cut & re-weld it to get more reverse? Not sure if its merely handle placement. Would love a mini-sprint in reverse. Thoughts please?
