A setup I've never seen before..


1/2" Drip tubing running around a shrub area with 1/4 "drip tubing Tapped off and running to this... The 1/4 Drip Tubing is SUPPLYING these 4" irritrol spray heads with extremely low flow nozzles.


For what it is it works.

One of the nozzles was clogged so I tried to put in a 8F and it wouldn't pop up. I dug it up and found this!

What is it? R/B valve in head?

I'm surprised Rain bird would even provide a product like that... Must be the consumer portion department ... ( Let's make the hokiest things that has a huge potential of breaking any day anytime har har har)

I mean durabity yes the head itself is way better then 1/4 drip emitters like xeri, rain drip orbit ect ect. But the simple fact is was prefabed as 1/2.. Designed already for a more sturdy design application and then they throw this 1/4 shietttt on

I have used before when the customer did not want to see the polyflex risers. No problems, just use the recommended nozzles (Rain Bird 5' and 8' MPR nozzles and SQ Series Nozzles).

It's just a Uni-Spray with a goofy adapter on the bottom. We used some once on a job and they worked OK but I wasn't thrilled with them.
