I got a call to fix a system where 5 zones are stuck on a football field. All valves buried with one sprinkler per zone. I chopped through wires trying to find the valves, and snapped the PVC mainline at a tee trying to unscrew a valve. They used copper for swing arms with no elbows which have kinked over time from 35 years of machinery driving over them. Nightmare really. I have given them a price to start again. Only half the field is actually getting watered due to the poor layout (which may have been ok originally)

Rainspray which were an Aussie company. I had never heard of them until this job. The brass valves are the same brand.

Just went through a local fast food drive thru, and on my way out, I noticed several of what appeared to be Orbit pop up spray heads and for nozzles they had plastic impact heads screwed into them.
![]() I'll try and remember to get a picture next time I go through there. |

Lucky I decided to hand dig this seeing there was no trace wire for the gas line.
No idea what the go was with the controller either! |

Ahahahah . They must have just been drunk when they installed the controller
And the gas line! That's some scare S. It happens often when a private gas line is installed to another building on the property. |
