The client told me the gas line was done last year by a plumber. It's scary what some people get away with when dealing with naive home owners who don't know any better. It was about 5-6 inches deep and went through the whole front yard to the street.

Scarry indeed, seems the inspectors are lax or were not called.

Many times the wire is in the ditch but not exposed above ground.

Those jobs are why i have learned to like broadcast mode.

We do get hard freezes in this part. I've had many a pump and above ground supply line freeze and split around here.
