Probably was a stray bullet and shorted it out.

See, those new Florida gun laws are good for something after all...

Got some new ones:
Nice valve farm - the 3 on the right are Nelson. System also featured a Fimco pump-start relay, and a Rainbird ST-something-or-other indoor controller mounted in an Orbit outdoor enclosure, complete with plug-in transformer. Attack of the plumbers! Street sweep into a threaded hub adapter. Ahem - the irrigation fittings are one aisle over... Never mind, we usually remove the plywood shipping board, but we're just fcrazy that way... This one left me speechless.

Typical FL, TX. CA homeowner crap
They try it around here but it freezes and breaks the first year. |

The PVC coming out of that pump is going to make a pretty balloon one day.

Naw, the threads will melt and blow out before it balloons.

No photo..
But someone installed the point of connection for the irrigation system off the ' Drain Blow out' for the indoor fire sprinkler system. Then they disconnected the flow sensor wires so the fire department doesn't come rushing out I told the HO about it and he says ' oh well' |

An isolation valve .
There is a shut off prior to this otherwise it wouldn't be able to drain |
