John Deere Post Hole Digger

I bought a used post hole digger but am confused about how to connect it to my three point hitch. It has a hole for a pin on the end of the shaft but the three point doesn't look like it should go this way? Any help would be appreciated.

You probably need to remove the top link and hook the digger directly to the tractor. Thats how mine hooks up. ED
