Keeping your Wacker Wacking

If your plate tamper(s) have not had the rubber isolaters replaced in the last 5-7 years, they're probably about ready for replacement.

We have a small tamper, about 10 years old, just replaced the isolaters.

Had to use an air chissle to break the threaded portions of the isolaters free. (not my hand in the fotos)

We just ran the tamper on Tuesday since the repair.

WHAT A FREAKIN DIFFERENCE!!!!

I'm tellin you folks - if your compactor has a little or has some age to it - replace those isolators. They're about 19 bucks each. I assure you - you'll see a difference!

It don't matter how big your wacker is - if your wacker's rubbers are worn - it won't wack like it should.
