mini-lights are shrinking !

ran out of green cord mini-lights, have more on the way, but went ahead and bought some local mini's for a customer that did not like the white cord mini's I use and wanted to finish the job. I bought the GE brand, and was shocked at how short a good name brand 100 count set is. 20 feet. or 240 inches, or less than 2.5 inch spacing. these used to be used for tightwrapping or wireframe outline only. now, this is all they sell. I found a GE box buried way back in the office that was a blue set from a couple years back, same size box, but 38 feet long, or 4.5 inch spacing. and the price is printed on the box, and the old one was almost half the price as the box I bought last week. so the price doubles, and the copper is half the amount it used to be. I love america.

and it is almost impossible to make these look good in bushes. so unless you are tightwrapping, your only option is to buy 4-6 inch spacing mini's from a wholesale source.
