Late start

Does anyone in the Northeast see a late start to their season coming for this year?

We are mainly lawn so we will probably see a later start. We were cutting in the first week of March last year I believe. Probably won't be until april we get our first runs in.

North jersey. We still have roughly 5-10 inches on the ground and huge snow banks along just about every road here despite the warm temperatures the past week.

I'm seeing it the ground is white here. The 2-3 feet of snow we had is now 2-6 inches but nearly hard enough to walk on with out leaving tracks. The 10 day forecast has 4 snow storm possibilities and the temps are 20-30s for the entire time. Even if we pick up no new snow I doubt what we have will melt by march 6th which is the last date in the forecast. We would like to get started sometime around march 10-15th and its not looking to likely.

I don't want to wait until closer to April 1 (give or take a few days) but it's appearing more and more likely at this point. The bank account can't afford that lol. Last year I was doing clean ups by St Patricks Day! Doesn't appear to be the case this year!

Here in the South East its gonna be a real late start, usually by April 1 were off and running, but everything looks brown and crunchy, trees look like they aren't even close to start growing again. Im thinking its going to be another 6. weeks.

2 years ago March 1 we were at full throttle.

HJope I don't run out of money lol

And now I hear that there's a big storm on the horizon for Monday of next week. I don't want any more snow!

as long as no snow is on the ground, I can start working. mowing can wait - April 15 at the latest.
