Sport X hydro pumps
I have a 52" Sport X, ser. #57269 and I'm wondering if it has the updated pumps on it. Its always been twitchy but not unbearable. I would just like to know that it has the right pumps. Thanks

WJC,
Your Sport X has the lower friction pumps, check the front casters and make sure they are not on the tight side and causing the mower to steer itself. Best Regards Wright Mfg.

When I first got the mower I checked the casters, and did end up loosening them because they were pretty tight. As long as it has the newer pumps I'm fine with how it behaves, I can live with it being a little twitchy. Its more noticeable after getting off my old mower, but after being on the X for awhile its not as noticeable. Thanks
