I was thinking of doing this. Like to hear if anyone else uses it or thoughts. Hows it going. I was thinking I would do posts with lawn care tips and when, and putting in when to call for leaf removal and light installs and the rest. any body do this? Hows the response?

I have actually been thinking about whether Facebook would be a good avenue for advertising. You would have to keep up with it a lot and give people a reason to spread your name around. I don't know, prizes, discounts.... I think it's a good thought.

Rob, how did you get the direct link to your FB page. I've looked everywhere and I can't figure it out.

We have our company on facebook to be more personable and to update people on new things that are going with our company. It is a nice informal way to stay in the loop. Doesn't cost anything and a nice way to network.

I have a page for my lawn service and I advertise there as well.

So far the advertising has paid for itself, but even if it had not, I'd still use it to build name recognition in my community.
