Blowers-Redmax vs. Echo vs. Shindaiwa

I know that there have been several posts regarding this already...but figured I would share some general feedback on our recent experience with these blowers. We need some new blowers so recently I bought the echo and also a shindaiwa...we had also a brand new redmax to use from a friend to see which we liked best. These of course are all their top models that they currently sell.

They are all good blowers and work well...but the general consensus goes to the Echo. They all like that one the best because it seems to do the best job as far as blowing power. It also seems lighter. The shindaiwa we may try a different tube configuration to see if that changes anything...as this one on paper is supposed to be the most powerful. But as of right now, we will be buying more echo back packs next spring.

I have all those including the Sthil 600, the Shindaiwa EB 8520 is the stongest 2nd is the Sthil the Stihl is better as far as it's weight not as heavy the Shindaiwa is heavier it's padded well and pretty comfortable but noticably heavier the red max is good echo's won't last like the Stihl.

Domain311,
I don't mean to hijack your post but can't PM anyone yet.
I have an eb802 and it blows like bad outta hell, but it doesn't seem like it has controlled blowing power.I also have a br 600 and pb 770 and they have more controlled blowing power over the eb 802.
Could you let me know what configuration you get when you try it out on your 8520,when you figure it out?
I know we are talking two different blowers but ya never know.
Thanks

There is a supposedly a Shindaiwa EB854, but I don't see much on it. Looks to be really powerful.

Mostly the same as 8520, maybe a little different but mainly is red color that might match your cloths better!!!

Mictrik,
I don't want to get bashed from anyone but ,.....In this order
1.Echo pb770
2.Shin eb802
3.Stihl br600
They are all awsome blowers but the echo has the advantage(not much)
I think the echo is more controlled over the shindy. The stihl is the best all around blower.
This is what I have for blowers and what i come up with.
I would like to find another carb(adjustabe) for the shindy 802 and see what that badboy has then. OH YEAH

You have got to be kidding me???? Your br600 must be a miss labeled old br420. NO WAY a shindy, redmax, and definately not and echo will out blow the stihl. Buy the right equipment the first time. Here is a video to help you confused guys out.
