So what happened to cause you to lose your shirt? more debris than you had planned or more tonage?

$5000 including 20 hours of taking out horse stalls. The dumpsters were all way overweight according to dumpster co at $98 per ton over 3 tons. I really packed the hell out of them with the 160. It cost me $4950 all said.

Nice 160, really clean. A hyd thumb is always better, I have a mech just like that. It works ok for what it is. Bidding demo is an art. There are formulas but really every job is a little different. Just takes exerience to prevent working for free.

well I have a little experience now. other than the tonage blunder I planned on three 30 yarders and it took 5. The 160 was supposed to have a hyd thumb. That cost me 850 with deliv.

Holy cow you paid $98 a ton? we have C&D landfills( construction Debris not garbage) and they only charge about $30 a ton. They take pretty much all demo material as long as theirs not household trash in it.
