Locking ideas for a drop gate trailer
Pardon me if this has been discussed.
I have a new ZTR and a drop gate trailer. My idea is to make it hard for someone to steal my mower, if I'm away from it for a short time (lunch and such). Have any of you guys made or seen a locking system that locks the gate in the "up" position? My feeling is that this would thwart theft ideas, pretty quickly. No one is gonna lift my ZTR out of the bed. Thanks. |

That looks great. Thank you.
Do you use this? If so, I assume (since you suggested it) you're satisfied? Thanks, again. |

No I don't use it so I can't remark on it. I just remembered seeing it during some other research.

I just use a cable and a padlock. Also, make sure your trailer is locked to your ball. If not they'll just take the whole trailer

Thanks, guys. I ordered the jungle jim system shown above (previous post). I'll pick it up with my ZTR, soon.
I do have a lock on the trailer ball, also. Good point. |
