help with bidding on commercial job

hey guys been doing landscaping for quite some time, trying to get into more plantings and what not.

here is a list of what needs to go in.. maybe you can give me a price of what i should charge for the plants and install? any help would be greatly appreciated!!!

Red Sunset Maple 2.5-3" cal 4
RedSpire Pear 2.5-3" cal 5
Colorodo Spruce 6-8' 1
Norway Spruce 5-8' 15
American Boxwood 24-36" 12
PJM Rhododendrum 24-36" 16
Goldflame Spirea 24-36" 21
Compact Meyer Lilac 24-36" 21

all to be sold and and installed. what would you bid for this size job?

also to install about 30 yrds of top soil.

I have an idea of what i am thinking of charging, i just want to see if i'm in the ball park..

i know anyone could come and undercut me. bla bla.. but just to see.. i dont need an exact number but just a round about..

with sales of plants and trees i'm somewhere around 15k

It really all depends on what your costs are, how are you moving the topsoil and shrubs, are you using a skid steer, are you guaranteeing the shrubs for your client, etc?

guaranteeing the work. i'll be using mainly man power for this job. a kabota to move the dirt around.

I guess I can use a steer to move the tree's around.. my costs for plants are about 5g's I have a place to deliver the dirt for little to no money..

Does the 5k include your topsoil cost as well?

I would say that you are in the ball park. You might be leaving some money on the table though.
