There are 2 major differences, the gear drive or hydro drive and the size of the drive tires. I do believe they share the series 2 and 3 decks.

The compare option on the exmark website finally worked so I checked them out. The main differences are the hydro vs gear, air filter, and tire size. I have a Metro now and Im trying to decide what to get next. Anyone use a viking or metro? or Both?
