Toro/Exmark discontinuing Walk behinds.

I talked to my dealer today and they said that a lot of the models have been discontinued for this year. The Grandstands are taking over the line. Not sure about all the models but he is sure on the 36" and 40".
Any enlightenment on this. Thanks.

Hi Gasracer,

The information you were given is not accurate. Only two mid-size models have been discontinued for 2011. Fifteen remain in the line-up including 36" and 40" models.

They are not offering the 36" hydro floating deck but will offer a hydro fixed deck in pistol grip only. 40" discontinued all together in hydro.
The belt drives are not effected.

Was there not enough demand for hydros in those sizes? Or just streamlining the production line a bit?

Here I thought I was going to pick up a 36" Floating Hydro w/ T-Bar this year. I was having a hard time making up my mind last year, this might make it easier.

My dealer did a nation wide search trying to find a left over 36" toro with no luck.
I decided to buy a 36" Ferris DD to match my 48".
Gravely still makes a 36" T-bar adjustable deck.
