Killing grass in winter!
going to do a sod job this spring. Can i go ahead and kill the old grass off with weed be gon now or do i need to wait till its actively growing

Harley rake it and then use imprelis then sod it as long as its fescue or BG you are good - imprelis also kills bermuda.

thanks for the info. Theres not a whole lot of grass to begin with. do you think that i could just till it under, rake it add my compost,till again, role it and then lay the sod?
