Openions on WebSite

http://wocg.dlpdev.com/

This is my test site. I know the p comment box has font color errors. Bu I would likes everyone input.

My partner owns a printing press and We will put out 20,000 door hangers monthly with little to no effort. If my crew is not cutting, they are hanging door hangers.

The prices will be good as I know the size of the yards where I am dumping the door hangers.

Thanks

Oh yeah, I forgot to mention that I didn't see anywhere on your site that describes what you and your co. can do.

What we do.

We only cut grass. It says "Mow, edge, trim, blow off paved areas"

It says it by every payment plan. I am in Houston, TX we have long seasons and humid weather. Our lawns grow fast and furious.

All of the other things we could do I will let other people have the work for referal fees to me. 95% of all profit is made in "Mow, edge, trim, blow off paved areas"

If business is slow, I will have my crews putting out door hangers.

Thanks for your input.

BTW, I like the guy upside down in the high grass. LOL

Facebook , twitter and Youtube started as well

Ok I just added my face book fan page and I will begin to work on some videos for You tube as well in 2 weeks. I will make one every week. I also I hired a company to take care of my face book for me and handle my twitter blogs.

This should be the easiest business I have ever run.

Excellent - you've done a great job! Probably the best lawn cutting site I've ever seen!

Lurch, good looking website. I hate to be the only naysayer replying but the text is way too wordy. I can't imagine anyone wanting to wade through all of that. It could say exactly the same thing in about half as many words.

There's a balance to be struck between keeping words to a minimum for better readability, and using enough words so Google see the important keywords several times on a page.

I think of writing web content using the newspaper model - Catchy headlines and sub-headlines, first two lines summarizing the page content, using bulleted lists whenever possible, using bold text judiciously, using call-out quotes or lists for quick views.

When you use that newspaper model then you can add as much text as you want - the average person probably won't read it all (and won't penalize you for using too many words), but Google reads every word and might be impressed enough to push you to the top of each page.

I admit I know nothing of website design and wording for moving you up in searches. However, I do know about newspapers, headlines, sub-headlines, and leads (first paragraphs). If wordiness in a big, glob of text is good on a website, its news to me.
