well with a 70 degree day today we had to sneak off the job for a few hours and drool over some shinny tracks and tires

That yellow mower is pretty wicked looking. I wonder why it has that hinged peice on the front?

My guess is that it helps in keeping whatever your cutting upright so it will cut better. If it were smooth, things would tend to go left or right.

It's the stump jumper feature, if you are mowing and run into a stump buried in the grass, the bar will help direct the mower away or stop it from going completely under and stalling the mower, these are high flow mowers, in the 30-40GPM range.

Dirtman, I decided to go today. I hadn't been in 5 yrs or so, the turnout ways almost as good as the state fair.

I bet I walked a good 10 miles.

Yep, saw alot of leather coats with the collar flipped up and gator boots too.
