Desert Extruision//////Scorpion trimmer line?

anyone use this specific trimmer line? i have used the others or verys similar to it enough to know.

currently using shakespeare ultratwist/supertwistgatorline.

it is great, but the concept of the scorpion with the cutting edges and all looked good. i wanted to get some reviews before getting a sample to try for an eventual switchover if warranted.

there is only a few manufacturers, they rebrand it all over the place so likely it is.

i rarely hear about the scorpion though and was wanting to see if anyone used it on here. i had a 1lb spool of vortex until we dropped it into the waste oil and forgot it there for a month or so..... decided to throw it away after that one.

I've tried the Oregon Gator twist line, and I didn't like it much. It is too light, and has more drag (sharper edges) than the Desert Vortex Line (my favorite).

that is the reason i like it(i am using shakespeare though) as it cuts better with the edges and the reason i did not like the vortex with round edges. i will give them the fact the vortex is the toghest string i have even encountered
