1993 Ford 250 Diesel

Hi

I have a 1993 Ford 250 Diesel. Reg cab in great codition for the age doesnt have the typical ford rot. There is a little bit of rot on the bed side whell wells and an inner cab corner. But nothing like the fords of these years have.

Recently work done:

Transmission overhaul done in AUG 3k miles ago
Total new Break System from brake booster to pads/shoes
It is wired for a rv with the 7way plug (i did wire in for the trailer breakes just no controler and never hooked up) i only towed a 6*12 open trailer with it
New oil change like 300 miles ago (oil changed every 3k miles)
Alpine radio with pioneer speakers it sounds great!
New belt tensioner since ive owned it
New belt since ive owned it

I have a book i kept of all the work i did to the truck and the miliage that it was done on. This truck is a turn key truck i have had it a year and now its time to upgrade.

I have a lot of other work into the truck just cant remember it right now. Have most of the recipts for the truck and have a log book i kept of the miliage when the work was done.

The truck has the 7.3 liter non turbo diesel. It just turned 163k(i drive the truck everyday so that is subject to change) and if you know this motor it was one of the best ford made! Just breaking in. I would not hesitate to drive this truck to florida or california. It is a 2wd with a posi rear end (i put an autometer dif temp gauge in it so the truck would be suited for someone towing large trailers or driving long distances). This truck could tow and haul some serious wieght and still get good gas miliage with it. It has the ford factory style wide view towing mirrors. I have gotten upwards of 19mpg with the truck Im sure that it will get more though it was last checked with the old transmission. I have owned it a year and am the 4th owner. The last two were in the same family.

I love the truck the only reason I am selling it is becuase it is 2wd and i would really want 4wd. Also I am particial to dodges. I will and am open to trades and will pay some cash for the right truck. I want a 2500 or 3500 dodge diesel 4wd with around the same miliage or less. If the truck is a dually i would entertain looking at it.

The picture of the truck is when it was not clean (if you would like the sideboards in the picture we can work that into a price also). It really shines nice when clean. I have gotten a lot of complements on this truck. I have done some research and these old fords are very desireable and i am looking for 7k or bro. I have done a lot of work to the truck and it is now time to upgrade.

Feel free to call me at 401-837-2237. If you can text I could send pictures of the truck.

Thanks for your time.

Drop the price about two grand and you will be in the price range it might sell for. It is a nice truck, but the rot is a killer as far as pricing. You can buy nice rot-free, 95-97, 7.3 Powerstrokes most anywhere, for around $5900.00, or less. There are at least 8 or 10 listed right now on our local Craigslist.
Again, nice truck, but 7k is not realistic for it.

honestly you are in texas that makes all the difference! in New england these trucks are for sale for like 4-5k and they are rotted to sh**! these trucks do not hold up in new england with the salt. not to mention a lot of them around here have atleast 200k on them.

I am not presured to sell just figued that if this it the truck someone is looking for its forsale and any cash offers will be reviewed. This is not a FIRM PRICE its up for negotiation.
