First for me

I've built several walls over the last 5 or so years. All of which look excellent still.

I have two walls that I am bidding on right now though that will be a new situation. One wall has concrete poured right up to the base of the existing tie wall. Is it possible to remove the existing tie wall without damaging the concrete? I'd like to hear what the proper procedure is for this. I know this is pretty common, but like I said, I haven't run into yet on one of my jobs.

The other situation is about a three foot high tie wall holding up a driveway. What is the proper procedure for this application?

Like I said, I've built several walls, so I'm not just some scrub that doesn't know what he is doing. I just haven't run into these situations yet. Thanks for any help.
