Haven't been on the thread in awhile, wow Tim apparently this was a great idea you had. Way more people in our area than I thought on here. LawnKing, Route 8 is real rough now, it's kind of miserable pulling the trailer through there. I learned last year when I had two tires blow on 79 to always carry a spare, got a spare at Tractor Supply with the trailer mount.

Going pretty well up to now. This weather has been outrageous. Two weeks ago we were so far behind schedule, now I am out doing sales calls twice a week because we are ahead of schedule and looking for a little fill work. How is the job going at MMC? Didn't expect to meet another Geneva alum on here either hah

Small world...same town, high school, AND college.

MMC's going well, thanks for asking. They gave me my own crew at the beginning of the cutting season and we're finally down to working about 50 hours a week instead of 65. All that rain sucked...we don't take rain days but everything's so much harder to make look nice when it's wet and growing 4 inches every week.

I've seen you guys around here and there in Mars and Gibsonia. We have the contract for St. Johns this year and my crew takes care of it every Wednesday so I might see you around more.

Ya were running through mars/treesdale a lot. We were at Woodland Valley twice a week until this sudden change of weather has slowed everything. I didn't realize that was you guys taking care of St. Johns this year, I will make sure to wave next time I drive by hah

You guys buy spares?! Perfect examples of why I'll be quitting this spring:

Blew a tire on 79 a few weeks ago and still using a mismatched one that was supposed to become a spare because the boss wont pay for a new one.

Got stopped by Northern Regional this week because plate has been sitting on dash since February!

Twenty 2.5" maples are dead because boss wont buy 150' of hose.

20 tons of screened soil and 20 tons of salt washing away because he won't pay for tarps.

Thanks for chiming in Chad. Can't believe there's so many guys from Mars/Gibsonia on this forum.

Finally nice to be cutting short dry grass...it's almost like vacation!
