The lack of rain has finally caught up to me. It has been business as usual to this point, but I will start skipping a few this week. I will scrap the few I do on Monday and roll them into Tuesday. Instead of mowing 4 days a week, I will do 3 days for the next couple of months.

Yep. Seems like two each day aren't getting cut now.

Fortunately a few are asking for other work that helps offset it, but coming home early each day is getting old.

Still working normal hours for now...well, a little earlier...but we're splitting time between trimming shrubs and partial cutting accounts.

Ooh boy, I may break $130 today.

Sheesh. By next week, there won't be anything left to cut.

Keep hydrated out there. Less competition is good, but don't wanna see anyone dropping in the heat.

I cut 4 and skipped 4.

I feel drained. The heat has never bothered me before.

Everybody still standing?

Yesterday, when I got home the display said 96. Today, at 5:00, it was 98. The breeze has been good the past couple of days. And, the humidity wasn't too bad this afternoon. I did better than I expected.

Where is the person who was complaining a few weeks ago about heavy green grass clumping? We need to beat the person severely about the head and shoulders with a big stick!

Well, ... not really. Will we ever see a heavy stream of clippings coming out the discharge chute again? Oh, to see green grass clippings streaming from the chute, and even making windrows or clumps? What a great sight that would be!
