Texting while driving!!

How many distracted drivers do you see while your out on the road? I see It seems to be every other driver with a phone in their hands some with a cigarette in the other and dog on their lap hanging out of the window. Others i see doing their makeup or trying to read a map. They are trying to make it illegal here in NV to use a phone while driving like some other states. Im all for it to become law as people are dying while others are distracted!! It seems to be as dangerous as driving while under the influence of drink or drugs, I use a hands free system while on the road but im thinking that even this is still being distracted. How many distracted drivers do you see while your out on the road?

I see alot of people doing it in my area, even though it is illegal to talk on the phone while driving, let alone texting. I try to avoid them by staying behind them or passing them on the highway. The law the city passed, isn't enforced enough, even with signs posted around the city. Walking while texting is dangerous too. I had some idiot cross the road while texting and didn't even bother looking to see if traffic was coming.

When i'm out driving, no matter if its work or not, either I let it go to my voicemail or just pull over to the shoulder of the road. Even those hand-free sets, people do get distracted.

If you get pulled over

If you get pulled over for distracted driving the cop most probably was using a laptop while driving to run a check on you. Ive never seen the bunny in use while driving though...

I was hit head on by a driver who was talking on the phone and crossed the center line.
Spent 12 days in the hospital, 4 operations and the whole season on crutches.
Needless to say , I support a ban on cell phones.
