The second picture is the bed of my truck after the dump insert was taken out. I sprayed it in the beginning of the season and it's been through grass, dust, leaves, dirt, snow, rain, etc. There is a ton of dirt in there, but the fluid film is still strong. I later pressure washed out the dirt and the bed was still slick with Fluid Film! The mechanics at the trailer place are not fans of Fluid Film after today.....lol. I coated the bolts and nuts the night before I brought it in because they said sometimes they get really rusted on and are hard to get off. Sooooo I made sure that didn't happen plus the whole bed was coated so they were covered in it! They were pissed...It was great!

These are after I cleaned the truck, I gave it a coat of fluid film rubbed in with an old shirt. It shined up the chrome, the black plastic, and buffed the paint. It looked like a new truck when I was done!

D, how do you like the FF as a wax? we wax our trucks twice a year, with mothers or turtle etc. wears off after a while though.

does the FF work better than normal carnuba for cars? last longer? hard to get off etc?

I love using it on my truck...but I really can't compare it with wax as I never really bothered waxing my trucks before, but it lasts a few months which is pretty good I would think!

how much FF does it take for you truck? this way i can compare costs of conventional wax vs FF

maybe not as perfect as when you first apply it but i usually spray my truck in the beginning of the year and by midway through the season you can still feel it on there. I mean at that point it's not as thick of a coat as it was in the beginning but it is still there. For my truck I usually go through about half of a can give or take.

hmmm.

i will have to test a small area on a non waxed vehicle of mine and see how it performs as a "wax"
