The spigot had me laughing. I'm meeting this afternoon to show the school director my plans for the new irrigation system install and upgrades. I decided to start my guys out easy today, they are putting out 3k doorhangers. Lol

Some rough looking stuff there. Ive always installed a water faucet at the back flow for an extra water hookup there isn't one close. Has came in handy planting on several properties. Actually this is fairly common with other contractors as well. Is this bad practice or something ?

How did you contract the work with the school ?

I like the idea of the spigot, comes in handy. It was just the way they had everything rigged up. The job at the school was originally going to be a small makeover, now it has evolved into a full blown tearout and new irrigation/landscape. I graduated in 03' and the landscape is exactly the same as it has been for 10+yrs. Basicaly now, I come up with an idea, give them a plan, they cut check, we complete job. The director said don't worry about price, tear out the old stuff and put in the new stuff the correct way.

Oh I agree the spigot is a good idea just not there.
I assumed that was a PVB because of the turn offs...but is it really a AVB? didn't see any test cocks.
