Thanks! I wanted to go atleast 2 bricks higher for the top for more fall for the second water fall, but i used over 3 pallets of wall stone... I would love to, but none of our customers would care for anything like this, and stuff like this isnt very popular yet... I would say were a little behind up here, hardscaping, and lighting arent to god awful popular, compared to Columbus (2 hrs away)...

I would really love to get in to hardscaping tho, just a small project of 2 would be nice...

Since i posted this, i resigned, got laid off of the school i was the grounds crew leader at, and got a job as a mechanic...

I dont wanna pull wrenches forever, so im in the planning stages of my own biz...
Ohh yea, im a fire fighter too. But i thought of a name for my new company (if i decide to start one)... Kegz Lawn & Landscape Rescue... Where in the future, all red trucks, with light bars (yellow for plowing and what not) and red and white on mine (for going on runs)...

As far as the old biz goes, my bro sold the dump truck (terrible decision) but last winter he got tired of a manual after plowing for 30 hrs straight haha

He replaced it with an 02 Sierra 2500HD ext cab, with the 8100 (8.1L 496 cu in) and the allison trans... Ext cab, SLT i think...

And a 99 2500 reg cab, long bed... with the 350 vortec (5.7L) its rough, but will make for a great plow truck...

thanks man, im a volunteer, were just smaller dept, we cover about 40 sq mi of land but 240 of water, we have boats, and scuba divers... I start my EMT classes this month

That's neet how you guy's cover more water then land, I still think that a fire fighter is in my top 5 most dangerous professions list.

Yea, we are right on lake Erie. We also go out of our area for water rescue. Us and 1 other station are the only Departments with a Dive Team within like 50 miles...

We JUST got a Brand new truck this week, so no pics yet, but i can tell u it was over $350,000.

Also we have a dive "truck" its a big Kodiac retired ambulance, but instead of first aid and a cot, it has suba gear, and wet suits...

One other thing not pictured is our boats, and brush truck (F350) for grass fires, and off road fires...

Sweet gear,can't wait to see pics of the new truck as well, it amazes me how expensive the equipment cost,but it's worth every penny.

Yea, this stuff isn't cheap by any means... but its worth every penny... the fire trucks carry a $15,000 thermal immaging ca,era on every truck... hell even out radios are expensive, pagers are like $500. We are all pumped, we have mew turn out gear (pants and coat) comming this month... that's a just shy of of $3,000 per person, ttimes about 30 firefighters... Really nothig about it is cheap haha. All that money we spend on a brand new truck, and it didmt come wITH ANY tools, so that's another $10,000 not including new hydrolic tools (like the jaws of life, rams, ect)
