EPDM Liner Cost

For those of you that don't already know, Firestone, effective July 1, 2011, is going to increase liner cost to distributors by another $0.03/sgft. This increase will most certainly be passed on to us.

Thanks for the great news..makes me happy to see that as I go past the gas station. I wish I had an extra grand to buy some liner from a local that was selling a 30x100ft roll. The guy must have hit a pond supply truck.

I was paying $.42 cut, $.40 roll. I can prolly get it for less if I shopped, but when I combine it with other items,I can save on shipping. Really doesn't matter, just have to pass the cost on to the customer, just like it was passed on to me.

If I can find a customer in this economy!

That's retail...which is still better than here. Retail here is $1.02

Heard from a second supplier. They are affecting an increase of 0.04 sqft.

Clay pond liner cost hasn't gone up as long as it doesn't need to be trucked. We really could use natural gas powered vehicles in this country.
