Maxum or Carry-On

I am just about ready to buy a tandem axle low profile dump trailer. I have two in mind and they are almost the same in price and spec. One dealer is closer but not a deal breaker. If it cam right down to it, the Maxum is probably $400 more but it will be a 2011. The Carry on is less $$ but it's a 2010. Any thoughts?

Maxum or Carry-On - no contest - MAXUM

Carry-on is a price brand company, their paint is not as good as the maxum, or any of their quaity...

There were things I noted when I saw the Carry-On. One, the paint was already dull like it had been outside for 3 years even though it was only a year old and Two, the hitch and lock looked....cheesy for lack of a better word. I've also noted that even though it's 600lbs heavier, I really can't see where they put the extra weight. I'm really leaning toward the Maxum unless I get any contradicting evidence.

Thanks for reminding me. I bought the Maxum for a number of reasons;
1-The empty weight of the Maxum was less than that of the Carry-On by about 700lbs. The useful payload of the Maxum is actually higher than the Carry-on.
2-The Maxum axles are actually rated higher than the Carry-on
3-The Maxum looked like it had a better finish than the Carry-on
4-Price-The price I was initially quoted for the Carry-On was about $800 higher than the Maxum.

It's parked in the yard and I have not had a chance to use it. It does travel well. Straight, as an arrow and doesn't tend to wiggle if the driver is so inclined.

6X10 10k. I have a silverado1/2ton short box that's pulling it.
