Is this a GOOD Adwords landing page???

I am gonna do Google Adwords this year! I have made a specific page on my website for people who click on my Adwords ad.

The first thing you see on the page is a coupon!

The second thing you see is what sets us apart from others

Third is customer testimonials

Fourth is my phone number and that we do free estimates

Do you think this setup will yield results?

No way to comment without seeing your adword classified ad. The relationship between your keywords and classified ad is not as important as the one between your classified ad and landing page. I think the page itself looks fine, but I would like to see what your ad is going to say?

Since your landing page has a coupon for a discount on mowing, I am assuming that your classified ad should say something about 25% off on mowing. When you set up your campaign, don't forget to use geo targeting. Also, your city/state should be in the header of your classified ad to keep down unwanted clicks.

From a marketing perspective I think it is great. Lawn care is all about customer satisfaction, and prospective clients want to know what others think. Once they get to the bottom of your page, I think they should have a positive feeling towards your business and most likely give you a call.

Like Walker-Talker commented, construct your ads wording carefully and make sure to use the geographical options to limit who sees your ad. Make good use of Ad words, it has lots of options and ways to analyze the performance of your ads.

The only think I can say is I think 25% off is to much, that's just my opinion.

Setting up Ad Words landing pages

I'm not going to pick your landing page apart.
The key elements are there.

As mentioned above, yes you would want to include "25% off coupon"
in the text of your ad copy, also...

1. You really want to be able to track conversions.
This can be setup by setting up the coupon a little differently.
Its hard to track the phone calls that result from adwords clicks
unless you setup a call forwarding service.
This can get a little complex - but is crucial to get the most
for your money, and not to waste a lot of money.

2. Split testing
You can actually setup 2 versions of your landing page
and overtime see which one performs better. So even though
your clicks are sent to yoursite.com/landing.html
The version of the site displayed will change in sequence:
Version 1, Version 2, Version 1, Version 2, and so on...

Over time if you get more conversions from Version 2,
meaning more people print the coupon, or call (if you're
tracking calls). Then you make Version 2 your main
landing page.

You shouldn't stop there however, now you continue to test
again with a yet another version of landing page (small change)
and see how that performs...

3. Quick "request a call"
Ok, this one is easy, I would include a quick form
where they include name and phone number and click
CALL ME, instead of them having to pick up and call..
(just another option)

If you're paying 20 cents per click or so #1 and #2 may not be as
important as when you're paying $5 and up per click.

What is your budget? I stop at $150.00 a day for add words. Just curious.

Me? I have different budgets, completely irrelevant to lawn care tho.
I did notice some keywords costing me 3X as much over the last few years

In your case your homepage can be just as well used as the landing page.

I just check my google adwords, I had a free 100$ credit, and in under 1 month or so it was gone, vanished. I didn't even received confirmation by mail what so ever that someone clicked on my ads. I think they just tricked me since I had a 100$ credit and not actual money.

If you don't use it you lose it.

Actual money does not kick in until the $100 credit is up.
Also you can stop it as soon as you come close to using the $100 credit.
So no actual money gets used.

Well I did used it as I enter my coupon code and then on the google adwords account it said I had 100$, I place my ad, making sure it was only targeting my local area and not world wide. I just don't get that I never got notification about how many clicks I got. When I go to the campaign pages on google adwords, I just see "Create a new campaign"
