Problem installing Quick Books Pro 2011
I currently have Quickbooks Pro 2007. We are trying to get the Pro 11 installed, but the 2007 doesn't want to uninstall. Has anyone had this issue? Apparently you have to manually install everything and back everything up on a jump drive etc. I am afraid to lose information. I am not sure why it won't sync on it's own. I don't want to ask quickbooks for help because they try to charge for the help... that's ridiculous.

Why do you want to uninstall the application? The data files are independent, and should be recognized by 2011, even though they were created under 2007. A file conversion will be done when you fire up 2011, so there is no "going back."
Maybe I'm missing your question. |
