I have all my advertising in motion adds in papers website handed out a **** ton of flyers 10000 to be exact. So far the only people that have called me back where price shopping. Or to complain that i left a flyer on there railing or door .....WTF HAHA , anyways this is my first year going full time i want to have about 60-80 accounts this year but idk if thats going to happend.Wondering if anyone else is got a suggestion thats been in the game for a while.

60-80 accounts! I have around 50, I work 3 1/2 days one week and 4 the next week. Take some time off!

your probably about the same weather in NJ as we are here, maybe about a week ahead. it is still to early for people to really be thinking about thier lawns yet. i will start door hangers this week and next and then around the first of April i hit the advertising hard for about 2-3 weeks.

Yea, even in South Florida with no snow and year round service people don't really start doing anything until April or so. Maybe a little earlier this year as our winter ended earlier.

Don't forget the best month can be July/August when all the bums quit b/c it is too hot and you are there to pick up the fallout.

I dont want to have down time Im trying to support myself the more money the better. My buddy started like 3 years ago full time started with 65 accounts the first year now, hes got 250 accounts 175 being full service. He makes bank and does very limited planting and install work outside of his customers, unless its a slow time of years or its a job thats worth the money, hes mostly maintenance and applicating.He just does all the paperwork and estimating now he has 3 crews that do all the work. I should have started it when he did haha.

I hope you checked your City laws before passing them out, with that many people bitching you may hear a knock at your door that you dont want to.

In most citys it's a violation
