And they will turn arround and sell the 6 loads of topsoil and make another $1200 easy if not more. So they are looking at making $3300 for the day off of you, minus $200 fuel, and paying the driver.

that milling number is high, I can almost guarantee they are getting the millings for turning around and selling for $300 plus delivery is all profit

I pay 6.50 a ton here for millings, picked up. Tandems also go for about 60-65 an hour. Tri-axles 70-75 an hour. As was said, sell the topsoil and that's really high on the trucking. I could never sell a job like that around here at that price. Good luck, and good for ya if you get it.
