my new project

I recently took on my first real project peice...
A client of mine was selling an ariens 36" power broom for a steal of a deal at $1500... he buys this stuff from his employer (who is my actual client) ... He tells me to try it before I buy it... I rolled it down the ramps from my truck and a wheel falls off... upon inspection, I realize the half inch axle shaft broke in two.
He offered to keep it but I believe I can fix it easily and need a project to learn more on...
Ive ordered those parts and am going to overhaul the whole machine...
He's knocking two hundred bucks off and I'm going to have a refurbished broom for peanuts. (New brooms here are going for $3500-5000)
It was super dirty and a bit rusty... but they sure did keep it greased lol (took a while to clean that from inside and out)
While I wait for the parts to arrive, I am cleaning it and will paint it. The 9hp tecumseh seems to be in tip top shape though I will be giving it a tune up and cleaning the carb and muffler.

Question that I do have: can I easily add an electric starter to a tecumseh that didnt come with? I know I can easily get one and that would be amazing in winter here.

Photos attached if I can get this to work in my phn.

I looked at it this morning and I was embarassed for asking the question.
Its a ridiculously simple install... this machine is a ready for one... I will put it off a few months as I want to delay shelling out $225 for a electric starter.
