Bri-Mar 7000 GVW dump weight

Just got new dump trailer, going to be hauling dirt and mulch. Anyone know how much these trailers can dump in tons or pound.

Look at your title..It will have the empty weight of the trailer. Take that weight and subtract it from 7,000 and that's what you can haul.

Trailer has a GVW of 7000lbs...That means the combined weight of the trailer and what u have in it cant be over 7000 lbs.

Your trailer prob weighs in about 2000lbs, so you can put about 5000 in it for a total of 7000. Check your title for the unladen weight
and minus it from 7000 to get your legal payload...

dumping

Our Briar Mar dumps over the GVW rating minus empty weight. If the question is "what can it dump", I would say close to 7,500 pounds. If the question is "what can it haul legally" then look at empty weight and tongue weight (the weight transfered tot he truck) subtracted from the GVW.

Don't you license or insure your dump?

I insure both my dump trucks and trailers and l tag them too. Your gvw is high enough you have too tag. Ten tires vs 6 tires . Too long for a tight area! hard on lawns! Won't tilt high enough. Horrible for hauling palletized product. Horrible for mulch, rock, compost or dirt. To high to haul skid steer or any large equipment. It is funny we have gotten out of landscaping we do landscape supplies and we have 13 Landscapers with dump trailers pay us $60 a hour to use our dump trucks because they are so much more productive while their trailers sit at home.
