Hey guys, sorry I've been so busy lately. I guess its a good thing though. Shortly after my last update, I bought out another local company. The guy had been wanting to get out for a long time so I decided I would give it a go. So my business name is now Flint Hills Irrigation. I still offer mowing, snow removal and all the same services that I did before. Reason I changed my name is the Flint Hills name is much more known around here. The equipment list now consists of:
1999 F-150 XL 4X4 7.5'Western 2004 F-150 FX4 7.6' Boss 1996 F-250 XL Ext. Cab Long Bed 1997 E-350 Ford Econoline 2002 Pace Setter 18ft Tandem Axle Trailer 2002 Top Hat 16ft Tandem Axle Trailer 2002 52 Grass Hopper Diesel 2003 42 Walker 2008 52 Toro Grand Stand 2009 52 Gravely Pro Stance 2006 36 Hustler Fastrac and of course all the handhelds and whatnot. And the irrigation plow and tow behind compressor. I'm sure I'm forgetting something somewhere. We just moved into a new shop, with office bathroom heat and air, kitchen, two bays and plenty of storage, one of the bays is a drive through bay which is very nice. Two guys mow 78 lawns a week, one of them is an HOA, another one is an independent school with football and soccer fields. I do all the irrigation and mangement work while they mow. It works out pretty good, I do miss mowing sometimes though, so every now and again I'll go out and jump on a mower. All the stripe pics are from lawns that I got bored and jumped on a mower. Things are going really well for me. I've been working 17hr days though trying to get things working the way I think they should be working. i apologize for the terrible pictures. They're from my Crack Berry, I'll try to break out the good camera and get some better pictures up here for you guys. My 94 is still around but it is now my personal truck.
