property preservation work

anyone do this kind of work? i was contacted two days ago about work in my area.besides the grass cutting their is other work like changing locks and trashouts. it looks like their is money to be made. but not sure if its worth it? can you just do the grass work? or do you have to take everything? can i only except work i want in my area? you have to take pics and email them before and after which is no problem, but some want 80 pics of the grass? thanks

Don't do it. This compamy called sterling Field services called me and said 18-20 per yard and they want it cut and cleaned up. gurantee most are jungles. Plus if you don't send the proper size pictures etc they won't pay. Too much risk not enough reward for me.

I do all those things and more. You make your own deals in this line of work. And, some lending institutions pay (obviously) better than others. I get SUBSTANTIALLY more than has been reported for lawn maintenance. And, they pay on time.

REO work is the lion's share of my business model.

can i accept jobs and decline jobs? or do i have to take everything in my area? in their rules it says something about evections? i dont want that! what do you do with the things you remove from trashouts? do you take them to the dump? who pays the fees?

Dude i'm telling you it's BS. They want you do do everything for peanuts. They want one guy to do as many properties as possible driving 50 miles etc. Gas will be 5 dollars by the end of the year and you don't want this trust me.

These guys have not worked for the right people. I just got sent 32 grass cuts im gonna try to do this weekend and they pay wwaaaaayyy more than 20 a yard.

This is my 3rd year doing. Preservation always paid within 2 weeks $65 or $38 a yard.

We dictate what areas we will serve and what services we want to do. We only do snow and lawn for these companies. Yes, the photos/paperwork is a pain but they fit into our routes and pay the going rate.
