Lathe

I have a chance to buy a small lathe. Its a old craftsman. 3" swing and 12" bed. Any Idea what it might be worth? about 25 years old.

Dont know what its worth but I would check the model # on the sears site and see if they still support it with parts. Easy access to parts would make it more valuable to me.

Lathe

I have a Craftsman 3X12 lathe with the original sales receipt. It was sold in 1951 for 53 bucks and was manufactured by Atlas. A couple of years ago I checked on parts availablilty and Atlas still had parts available through Sears.

I have just decided to put this lathe up for sale in the local paper as I have just purchased an old 8x18 Rockwell lathe.
