Freedom enclosed trailers

Anyone know anything about 'Freedom' enclosed trailers? I realized that Pace, Wells and Haulmark are recommended, but I am curious about this one.

Just look for the common standards. It looks just like the bendron titan we have. I can't see paying so much more for the same thing.

Thanks for the info. I just took a look at Bendron. Even the colors are the same. Obviously the same people are building them. What size do you have? They priced about the same?

I paid 4250 out the door for a 8.5 x 20. Its big but not as big as you think. They are definetly built by different people because bendron is made here in georgia. But I do agree that they are built all about the same. As long as the freedom trailer has similar specs I think you will be fine. Ours has been doing awesome. One of my clients has a big enclosed freedom and from the outside it looks good. And it was not recently purchased.

Actually, Freedom is out of Willacoochee, GA. The link I provided in the first post was just a dealer down here. http://www.freedomtrailerllc.com/

You know, when I bought my F350, years ago, that was my intention. An 8.5x20'. I bought a wide, open trailer and quickly found out how narrow our local roads are. My right-side tires spent half the time off the edge of the road. With the 8.5', it would be no time before I whacked something with it.

Oh.did not even realize that. Actually due to dot regs they can only be so wide. That's why you notice on the 8.5 the wheel well is inside of the trailer and on the smaller ones it overhangs on the outside. Basicly on the 8.5 they just made the walls of the trailer mount flush with the outside of the fenders if that makes sence. So you get more room inside of the trailer while the actual trailer width (outside to outside of each fender) stays the same.

I know, I'm just afraid of hitting mail boxes and such Just going from a 75" deck to a 82" open trailer made a huge difference. It was right at the legal limit with the fenders. I guess what I am saying is that I would rather hit stuff with the fender than the side of the trailer.

Trust me, I'd like to have a 8.5x20'. I'd love to have the option of having a car hauler.
