What time of the day do fescue seeds germinate?
I'm thinking they germinate at nighttime. They wouldn't germinate in the middle of the afternoon, would they?

Fescue doesn't germinate it hatches... Was that 9:61 central DST or Pacific time? I always thought they hatch during Oprah... or the View with all the additional fertilizer at that time...

The tiny root probably comes out at night when its is humid, and tries to get a grip in the moist soil before the sun comes up in the morning. If the new seed dries out from the sun, before the root begins to absorb moisture, using root hairs,it dies.

Greenwich mean time. But only after the spring equinox in every odd year between leap years which usually lands on a Thursday right before the nightcrawler spawns

Because if they germinate in the morning after the sun comes up, I'm screwed.
![]() I don't always get out there to water them until the afternoon. |
