Sump Pump Water for grass

I have set up my personal property to distribute water using a barrel reservoir sump pump situation. I use soaker hose to distribute the water from two barrels, 50 feet line for each barrel.

The water is orange in color but clean and clear unless you have a gallon, it's more orange. I'm assuming an iron bacteria, I also see it within my sump pump inside my house, it builds up.

Is this overall bad for my grass or should I be cautious?

I've been watering about 30 gallons a day (1000sq feet) over the last 3 days while seeding in this hot and dry weather. So far the grass seems to be fine, green and the seed is doing well.

No worries. We always did this up north. It's just groundwater. Ours was orange from all the clay. In winter we diverted it into the basement sink.

The orange is just iron in the water. Nothing at all to worry about if you're just watering plants with it.
