Too Much Mower

I recently bought a new mower, a JD 1435 with a 72" deck. It is an awesome machine but since I purchased it my customer base has changed significantly and I need to sell it. It's simply too big. I've since learned that I paid about $1500.00 too much for the machine and I've only had it for four months. I'd like to just get out of it or even willing to take a small loss. Any suggestions?

First of all, I am not familiar with a JD 1435? What kind of mower is it? What are the specs?

How much did you initially pay for it?

Was it brand new, demo, or just a "new" mower for you?

How did you come up with feeling you paid $1500 too much for it?

too much mower

It's a commercial front mower diesel with a 72" cut. I owe around 17500 for it and you can buy them new for about 16000. It has 130 hours on it. I traded a previous mower in on it and didn't have much equity in that mower. So, here I am today. Thanks

Sounds a lot like our Toro Groundsmaster (72" front deck and diesel. Right now we are running 3 of them. Things are built like a tank!

Don't know what to tell paying $1600 too much for it. I'm sure all of us have done that more than once in our lives and regret it. But I can tell you your mower will last a very long time (our Toros are evidence of that). I have had JD's in the past. They are very reliable

So you might want to reconsider. Maybe get some bigger jobs to make it worth your while to keep it? Supp to you...
