Grass Clippings
I have been mowing my baseball field trying to get it down to 2.5 for the season that starts next week. I have a side-shooting riding mower and have a lot of grass clippings. is there anyway that I can get rid of the grass clippings without bagging them? Should I mow every other day and will that get rid of them?

Double cut
once clippings are dry mow a second time. use a backpack blower to break up clumps and more evenly distribute clippings. Use 1/3 rule; Never mow more than 1/3 the green growth. If you are mowing at 2.5" you shouldn't be removing any more than 3/4" to 1" of the grass. In my area. mowing at 2.5" requires mowing twice per week, and then I'm stretching the 1/3 rule.
