How much gas does it take to mow 1/3rd an acre?

So, I'm looking to buy a push gas-powered lawn mower and I'm curious how much gas it would probably take to mow my lawn that's 1/3rd an acre in size. I'll probably be using an average 5 HP walmart variety lawn mower (Or home depot types, assuming the lawn mowers at walmart are too low of quality), and the grass itself is "normal" and I'll be mowing weekly.

You might use a tank full, which is possibly a sixteenth of a gallon?
I'm guessing here. So what would that cost? Our gas is about $5.50 a gallon

I would buy a mower with a transmission and get the job done quicker.
Then you have more time for fun.

The thing is,if you want to keep your operating costs down....
You need to keep your blades sharp and
change your oil about every 25 hours, lube every-thing
and send me five dollars for the information. Thanks.

doubling or tripling the maintenance costs is keeping costs down?
