What kind of maintenance and how often do you do it?

Yeah, ya'll are going to think I'm crazy, but just out of curiousity, since everybody does it different... How often do you do your regular maintenance (oil, air filter, blades, etc.) I know that the dealer says to do it every so often, but doing work everyday, I understand that the regular maintenance needs to be done more often, just not sure how often.. HELP!!

That's a tough question because the number of hours/day put on a piece of equipment will be different for each company. This is what we do-

Mowers-
Grease: 2x per week
Air filter: cleaned with compressed air 1x per week
Oil/ filter change: First monday of the month (synthetic)
Blades: Daily
Fuel filter: Yearly
Blow off machines: Daily (better appearance/runs cooler)
Wash machines: Weekly (appearance)

Bobcat-
Done according to Bobcat factory maintenance schedule

Hand tools- (string trimmers, bed edger, backpack blowers, hedge trimmers, etc)
Fluid film hedge trimmers before, during, and after use
Carb adjustment as needed
Visual inspection for any maintenance needs

blow off mower after every cut. Looks better and runs better that way. Change oil half way through the season. clean machines weekly(every sunday) clean air filter every week as well.
Blades sharpen them every month
Thats pretty much it all the other stuff is yearly.

We blow them off everyday, change the oil about 2-3 times a season and clean the air filter every 1-2 weeks.
