Wire Labels- Please.

All- Could you, would you please key me in on the bestest, nicest, most goodest wire label thingys out there?

Leary- You posted some quite a while back that were nice. I'm going for the pro look, not the cheap wrap-around stickers.

Thanks a jiggaphuckton!

Either Digi-Key or Newark sells a special printer, kinda like a P-Touch that prints whatever you want on shrink tubing. That's the classy way to go! I think the printer was like $150 or so.

Yikes. That sounds pretty nice- shrink tubing...

I should have clarified that I have champagne tastes on a beer budget.

Those 3M pads with numbers & alphabets are almost indestructible. My vote. Oddly, though, no sprinkler outlet in my area ever carried (or cared to) stock them. Platt Electric has them in a variety of different number/letter combos.

matt I've used these before to label. Once you get your template done you can save and just spit out a sheet when needed. These are clear but they have them in white as well.

I'm sure there are waterproof types and maybe skinnier as well.
