More RB solenoids LEAKING.

Brand new products...

I suppose the DV "aint what it used to be"

Did a few re-design jobs this week, threw in numerous 100 dv MXB one inch valves this week, problems with all.

Brand new solenoids leaking, not being able to hold pressure right off the bat..

Anyone else?

I've had a few jar tops that were leaking from the solenoid. Take the solenoid out and put it back in and all was fine. I'm just assuming someone is screwing them up at the factory.

Rub them O-rings with some KY and they'll swell right up.

DEF. The ORing, has nothing to do with the valve.

We talked about this in another thread a month or so ago.

I have had the same problem with numerous DV valves. From what I can tell it is the first thread on the top where the solenoid screws in.

Bull. Nothing like the solenoid freezing and the plunger cannot raise up. Or getting dirt in the threads for the jartop portion and it not sealing. All valves and all heads and all controllers will have problems at some point.

Not cold enough here for valve in a deep valve box to get a solenoid freeze. Shallow-box lazybones can just suffer.

No need to disassemble jartops if they are working as well as the 2400 does.
